The Month Of December 2010

The month of December started off on a rather low key. I was on one month no pay leave just to clear the clutter in my brains that had gathered after 1 long year of work. needed the break so badly that had to opt for leave. enjoyed my days spending it at home cleaning and sprucing up the house in order to face the new year and new challenges that came my way.

After a rather slow start, it was wedding season as Baljit Singh was gearing up to marry his sweetheart Palida. The days running up to the wedding saw my mum and I halping out making goodies at Uncle Harbhajan's home. It was such fun to be part of a wedding which is not your own.

The actual festivities only started on the 19th where in the morning wasPalida's oil ceremony as well as chuda eceremony which was closely followed by Baljit's oil ceremony in the evening. To add to the festivities, that very night was the Sangeet Nite at Johor Country Club for which yours truly was the master of ceremonies.

20th was the actual wedding ceremony in Machap followed by the departure of doli from the bride's residence. Night was the highlight of the wedding, the dinner reception to celebrate the union of 2 lovely souls. Its was a night of fun and dance and the hours just whizzed by. A wedding that we were looking forward to just came and went so fast before we could even bat an eye lid. Nevertheless a beautiful wedding and a beautiful couple. May God Bless them always. CONGRATS BALJIT AND PALIDA FROM ME AND HUBBY.
